We will begin reviewing applications once we have received a sufficient number. Our aim is to send out a first round of positive responses during the summer and to finalize the list in November. (The exact timeline may depend on the number of applicants.) Since coordinators play a key role in the success of EGMO, we will carefully review each applicant's experience to reach a balance between new recruits and experienced coordinators.

EGMO promotes women in mathematics by offering contestants the opportunity to experience a Mathematical Olympiad exclusively for girls. Previous editions have helped build a larger pool of women skilled in mathematical olympiads, making it a natural next step to increase the number of women in other roles at the competition, such as Coordinator.

So far, no quotas or rules have been applied to this role. However, we aim to set an ambitious milestone in 2026 by encouraging as many women as possible to apply and gather a largely female coordination team. We will of course review all applications to select the best candidates for the competition.
